Contribute to the project

Anyone and everyone is invited to participate in The memories of a place.

There are three easy ways to contribute:

1) Send us your memory of Pierrefonds using the form you will find here.

2) Call 514-447-8132 and leave your souvenir in the voice mailbox.

3) Leave your memory in the box of memories found in the entry of the Pierrefonds library.

Some hints

Your memory may only be one sentence long, and that sentence should contain only one verb.

For example :

One summer day, in 1964, I saw a fox close to the Rivière des Prairies.

or :

Every morning my mother drove me to Riverdale School.

Public Reading of the Memories

Your memory will be one of the 500 memories collected for the project. Eventually, a public reading of all the memories will take place at the library. The project seeks to create a poetic and social portrait of the Pierrefonds-Roxboro community. Participants and the public will be invited to the event, which is free and accessible to all. A booklet containing all the memories will be created and made available to the public. New memories will also appear every week on the project website and Facebook page.

Each souvenir will be attributed to its author on the website, the Facebook page, in the booklet and at any public presentation. If you wish to remain anonymous, please tick the appropriate box on the entry form.

Your email address will only be used to keep you informed of the progress of the project and to invite you to events related to it. The project will end in the fall of 2021, at which time all personal data will be erased.
